About Gense
Gense has been manufacturing flatware in Scandinavia since 1856. Handcrafted to the highest quality standards for more than 150 years, Gense is now one of Europe's largest manufacturers of cutlery.
The collection currently includes 20 patterns in stainless steel and 25 patterns in silver or silver plated. One of the most popular lines is Appetize, which is currently carried in dining rooms at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel. Another popular line, the Nobel, was designed for the 90th anniversary of the Nobel Prize and is used for the prize winners’ dinner every year. And the popular Hans Christian Andersen line re-launched in celebration of the author’s 200th birthday. In April of this year, GENSE launched CPB 2091, a brand new silver pattern designed by the Swedish Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte.
