Kyla Katz approaches jewelry design as an art form. Each piece she creates is a small sculpture intended to be worn in intimate conversation with the body. Her design process is improvisational; the shape emerges from the metal as Kyla makes it. The lines, angles and textures of her work embody unconscious elements and bring them into form.
Inspired by Modernist design of the mid-20th Century, Kyla uses clean lines and definitive shapes as a means to bring strength to her work.
Hand crafted in New Mexico at Kyla’s studio using 100% recycled sterling silver and 18k gold.
Minimal but bold, these are a great alternative to a standard hoop or stick earring.
