A new collection of stools designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby for Knoll Studio offers a relaxed, contemporary attitude toward interior design. The stool are reminiscent of those manufactured for sewing professionals in the mid-century era but they're so nicely finished that they'll look perfectly at home in your home.
The stool features a familiar tripod structure with a conical base unified by two concentric rings. The rings distribute weight evenly, to stabilize the stool on uneven floors and prevent the stool from wobbling. The die-cast material resists abrasions and dents.
The Barber & Osgerby stools feature a cast aluminum base finished with a durable powder coat paint in a variety of colors. Please note: the painted aluminum and teak seats are approved for outdoor use when used on the fixed height stool only. The Barber & Osgerby stools are available with a fixed or adjustable height base.
