A mid-century classic, George Nelson first designed the Bubble Lamp in 1947 for Howard Miller. The firm eventually discontinued the line in 1979. Herman Miller produces these lamps using the original Howard Miller tooling. The Bubble Lamp is featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The lantern pendant includes 6 feet of cord plus a 5.25 brushed nickel ceiling plate. The lamp is made from a steel frame with a polymer coating.
