nelson sunflower clock birch

The Sunflower Clock was designed in 1958 by Irving Harper for George Nelson Associates. In all, George Nelson Associates designed more than 150 clocks between 1948 and 1960.

The beautiful sunflower shape is formed from undulating bent birch wood strips that have a black finish on one side and natural birch on the other. Its size is quietly impressive.

Produced by Vitra, this is the authorized re-edition, produced using the original design specifications from the Nelson archive and with the permission of the George Nelson estate.
